Persons who have moved to Wyoming may obtain Wyoming registration one of two ways.
If there is non-expired registration on the vehicle from the jurisdiction you moved from, this office can issue Wyoming registration directly off of that registration. Please note that this office reserves the right to request additional documentation to ensure ownership of the vehicle and that the applicant is the owner, lessee or otherwise has lawful right to the vehicle as such.
If there is no registration or the registration from another jurisdiction is expired, you will need to obtain a Wyoming title prior to this office issuing registration. Please refer to the
Carbon County Clerk for information on obtaining a Wyoming title.
