The Carbon County Board of County Commissioners along with a steering committee has completed a draft Natural Resource Management Plan (NRMP). The public comment period will be open for 30-days from Tuesday February 16th through Wednesday March 17th. The document is located in the hyperlink below. Hard copies of the document are also be available for viewing at the Carbon County Clerk’s Office and at the conservation district offices in Baggs, Medicine Bow, and Saratoga. Written public comments are requested to ensure a full understanding of your thoughts and concerns. Written comments will by fully considered before finalizing the NRMP and can be submitted via email to CarbonCoSC@y2consultants.com or submitted to the Carbon County Clerks Office or the conservation district offices in Baggs, Medicine Bow, or Saratoga.

To acquire community input and provide information about the purpose and intent of the NRMP, public meetings will be held virtually through Zoom on March 3rd and 4th, 2021 at 5:30 PM with in-person viewing locations in Rawlins at the Jeffrey Center and at the conservation district offices in Baggs, Medicine Bow, and Saratoga.
