[ARCHIVED] Carbon County Seeks Input for Land Use Plan

LUP

Carbon County is seeking public feedback as it reviews and updates its Land Use Plan, which will guide development for the next 20 years. A public input survey is now available on the plan website where citizens can offer their vision for the County and reflect on what a high quality of life will mean for future generations in Carbon County. The intent of the survey is to understand what the county’s priorities should be and will help identify topics to focus on in the final plan. When complete, the plan will recommend goals and policies for how the county achieves the community’s vision.

The Carbon County Land Use Plan serves as the basis for economic development, quality residential growth and general improvements to ensure Carbon County is home to vibrant communities for residents and businesses. Community input drives the overall development of the plan and planning process and is vital to the success of the plan. This is a chance for Carbon County to share their values, vision and hopes for the future of the County and its communities.

Residents are asked to take the time to fill out the survey no later than February 5, 2024.

Paper copies of the survey are available in the County Clerk’s Office, located at 215 W Buffalo St., Suite 218,in Rawlins.
