Scholarships

New Applicant Information

Three new and one renewal County Commissioners' Scholarships will be awarded during May of each year at a regularly scheduled meeting of the County Commissioners. The scholarships are for $1,000 for students attending the University of Wyoming or any Wyoming Community College for one academic year.

Application are due by 5:00 p.m. on the last Friday of April annually. Submissions that are incomplete or received after this time may not be reviewed.

If you have any questions, please contact the Clerk's Office at 307-328-2668 option 0, or by email. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Once awarded, scholarships are paid and administered through the University of Wyoming's Office of Financial Aid.

Eligibility

Selection is based upon extra curricular activity, scholastic ability, and American College Testing (ACT) scores. Students who fail a math or English placement test are not eligible for this scholarship.
